I started going on the trail ride when it first started up and loved it from get-go !! What a tradtion ! Alot of good ole cowboys & cowgirls have come and gone and they are all still in our hearts ! Got To Love Them !!Jim Masur talked my Daddy into going and the rest is history !!

Cleaning up after the devastating spring floods in our area (Smithland, KY), I found in my father-in-law's few possessions a South Texas Trail Riders 1991 button with his name taped across the top. Later I discovered a packet of photos with wagon trains, and trail riders that I assume were taken at the time of this event. My f-i-l, Judge Ralph Smith, is now in a nursing home and no longer able to tell me about this adventure he took with his brother and wife, Hiram and Ann Smith, but I can only imagine how much fun he had.
